A Wonderful Movie

Well, my mom and I watched this movie last night and it's awesome! I have seen it before but it was around three years ago, so when mom and I watched it again it was like watching it for the first time!! :) I would definitely recommend it. It's clean, well filmed, and well..... awesome.

I've not read the book so I'm wondering who has and what they thought about it. If your currently reading it, you have read it , or you have heard that it's really good, please let me know! :)

The older BBC version is more true to the book and does not include the modern re-interpretation of patriarchal family life and the disrespect in speech shown in this more current film. However, the one you saw is the better one for excellent cinematography and soundtrack. Both are good. And I'm not even a girl... heh.

Katie said...: I agree with Pastor Head. Although its been a while sense I've seen the newer "Pride and Prejudice"(I have not seen the BBC version) I still remember some of it. I would really like to see it again to compare it to the book. I do remember that the cinematography was amazing.
As you know I recently finished reading the book Pride and Prejudice and did enjoy it. But my Mom also told me that you have to be very careful your not pulled into the romantic-ness of it all. I suggest carefully looking at the character quality's, good and bad, of the main characters.
